Lost items are held for at the Main Library, Art Library, and Music Library Circulation desks and periodically sent to lost and found in the College Center.
does this apply only to items lost at those locations or can items lost anywhere on campus be found there?

The library lost & found collection generally holds items that have been found around the libraries, but it's possible something made its way to the library from elsewhere! It certainly can't hurt to check if you are hoping to locate a lost item.
