How do I put documents into Moodle?

Answer

Faculty may submit documents to be placed on Moodle by:

  • Submitting a Reserves Form with full citation information (or url) for each individual reserve item.  Print forms are also available in the Reserves Office.
  • You may also drop off photocopies of articles or chapters at the reserve office.  To insure quality scanning, please consider the legibility of your submissions.
  • Sending PDFs as attachments to reserve@vassar.edu.  Please specify the course for which the files are needed.
  • Reserves staff can either upload files to your Moodle accounts so that you can manipulate them, or they can supply you with a link that you can add to your Moodle account -  readings will be in list format.  Advanced notice is necessary if you need a large number of documents uploaded to Moodle.  Let the reserve staff know which option you prefer.
